The decision to open fish markets starting April 9 was made by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA). At the same time, markets will be open at certain hours of the day. Fish markets are open to visitors in the morning and evening, namely, from 09:00 AM to 12.30 PM, and from 05:30 PM to 07:30 PM.
Among the measures required to be implemented is a reduction in the number of visitors in one room to maintain distance at least 2,5 meters between people, it is also necessary to wear a mask, visitors without a mask are not allowed to enter. Also, special market workers will measure the body temperature of each visitor and if it exceeds 37,5 degrees Celsius, an entry will be denied. In addition to masks, every visitor will be given gloves at the entrance; disinfectants are also placed everywhere.
All market workers will also constantly wear gloves and masks, in addition, orders have been given that premises and equipment should be subject to regular sanitization and disinfection. At the same time, only market workers will be able to touch the products, for buyers, this opportunity will be limited.
