The Ajman authorities announced that businesses will be allowed to resume economic activities. For this point, the Department of Economic Development in Ajman (DED-Ajman) issued ”Guidelines and Protocols for Reopening of Economic Activities”.
Cinemas, gyms, fitness clubs, children’s saloons, car-washing service now can renew its operation at 50 percent of their total capacity with the strict prohibition of gatherings. The retail and wholesale sectors are allowed to resume by operating at 70 percent of their total capacity, the employee capacity is increased to 70 percent.
According to “Guidelines and Protocols for Reopening of Economic Activities”, people over 60 and children under 12 will have the opportunity to visit health centres and clinics insides retail centres. It is an option will available for those who make a pre-appointment and will be accompanied by an adult and inform security men.
The use of valet parking is available at various locations and centres, including hotels and malls, provided adherence to all the precautionary procedures by the employees. The staff members returning from abroad shall observe a house quarantine and must conduct medical screening prior to back to work.
DED-Ajman urges establishments and visitors to follow all the restrictions as using hand sanitizer in public places, adhering curfew during the National Sterilisation Programme, and keeping two-meter social distance.
