According to official reports from Abu Dhabi Media Office, published on May 10, the system of movement permits is being introduced in the emirate. Such measures have been taken in connection with the implementation of the National Sterilization Program. Permission must be obtained if you need to be out of the house from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM, that is, at night, when the basic disinfection works are carried out.
Permits will be issued by the Abu Dhabi Police. To obtain such permission, you need to fill out a form on the official website of the police. Violators of the order, who will be stopped on the street at night and will not be able to show permission, will be fined. The reason for obtaining permission may be the purchase of medicines, seeking medical help, as well as the satisfaction of any basic needs.
Also, permission is granted to those whose work is related to vital sectors. Organizations in these sectors must provide the names of employees and license plates of their vehicles in order to be exempted from the violation.
Novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2, also known as COVID-19) is a new strain of coronavirus which is causing illness in humans and animals. Most people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus will feel mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without any special treatment. Older people, as well as those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease, cancer or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illness, and require immediate assistance. Novel Coronavirus was first identified in a cluster with pneumonia symptoms in Wuhan city, Hubei province of China, quickly spreading around the world. On early March 2020, the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic had officially started, becoming the defining global health crisis of our time. Today, it is the greatest challenge people have faced since World War II, worsened by subsequent lockdowns of whole countries, collapse of entire industries, and a major economic recession.
