After Dubai officials announcement on easing restrictions on movement, Dubai residents finally feel free to leave their homes between 06:00 AM and 10:00 PM. However, during the sterilisation programme carrying out, movement is not permitted.
Also, Dubai Police and Abu Dhabi Police have confirmed that residents are allowed to travel between emirates in personal, work and staycation trips. Also, it was confirmed by Dubai Police that if you are driving alone, you do not need to wear a mask. Dubai Police can issue fines to drivers without masks while driving with passengers.
And as UAE residents are now allowed to move freely during the day without any legal penalties, they are still encouraged to stay indoors for the most part. People can travel from one emirate to another but must stay indoors from 10:00 PM until 06:00 AM during the disinfection period.
Such public places as bars, shopping malls, restaurants, salons, shops and public transport also have been allowed to reopen. There are strict measures in guidelines to follow to ensure the safety of the visitors and staff at all times after COVID-19 shutdown.
