Initiated by Arts School, these Contemporary Dance Classes are aimed at children who love modern dancing styles and ready to learn new techniques. These classes are suitable for different skills and ages:
• Junior Contemporary Class (Age 5 – 10 years) at 05:00 PM
Jared, dance tutor from Diverse, will teach you a beautifully lyrical, contemporary piece to “Rise up” by Andra Day. During Class, kids will practice strong legwork with modern moves and unpredictable changes in rhythm, speed.
• Advance Contemporary Class (Age 11 – 18 years) at 06:00 PM
This class will be with advanced contemporary choreography and lyrical story. Kids will learn how to master the dance both technically and emotionally. With the help of Jared’s choreography, kids will perform the setting to the song “Shortlist” by RY X.
Also, there is a chance to win free classes in Contemporary Dance. All you need to do is:
1. Watch the advised classes from the above on Dubai Opera’s Facebook page (05:00 PM / 06:00 PM)
2. Practice it at home and make a video of your singing results
3. Upload this video to your social media account (Facebook/Instagram) within 1-2 days and put hashtag #DiverseDubaiOpera and tags @DubaiOpera and @DiversePerformingArtsSchool
