Initiated by Arts School, these Tap Dance Classes are aimed at children who love modern energetic dancing styles and ready to learn new techniques. These classes are suitable for different skills and ages:
• Junior Class (Age 5 – 10 years) at 05:00 PM
The head of ISTD Tap and Modern teacher Catherine will teach all mini tappers who would like to learn some steps. The main tap routine will be learned to the song “Don’t Slack” by Anderson, Paak, and Justin Timberlake from “Trolls 2”.
• Advance Class (Age 11 – 18 years) at 06:00 PM
For all teenage tap dancers, the head of ISTD Tap and Modern at Diverse Performing Arts School, Catherine, will put an advanced intricate tap tutorial. Youngsters will learn the moves and steps to the song “Juice” by Lizzo.
Also, there is a chance to get a first-place prize of 10 free classes and a second-place prize of 5 free classes for both age groups. All you need to do is:
1. Watch the advised classes from the above on Dubai Opera’s Facebook page (05:00 PM / 06:00 PM)
2. Practice it at home and make a video of your dancing results
3. Upload this video to your social media account (Facebook/Instagram) within 1-2 days and put hashtag #DiverseDubaiOpera and tags @DubaiOpera and @DiversePerformingArtsSchool
Diverse Performing Arts School will check all of the materials and pick up a winner from the most dedicated and talented ones, and contact him or her via social media channels.
