The National Sterilisation Programme has been extended to 24 hours a day, which means for people to stay home except when shopping for necessities, medicines or conducting vital work. But there is still one of the most concerning questions – what to do with our beloved pets.
Last week, it seemed you could apply for a permit to walk your dog via dxbpermit.gov.ae. But then term arrived as a result of that this was a mistake, and it was again to stay indoors for pet dogs and their owners.
Answering this question, Dubai Police states that during the movement restrictions it is not allowed to take a dog for a walk and is prohibited in all cases. However, some animals should be taken out to relieve themselves. In such cases, it is acceptable but only if it is in front of one’s residence and for no more than ten minutes while taking the necessary precautions to ensure public safety.
Canine owners are obliged to wear a mask and gloves at all times when they take their pets outdoors and maintain a safe distance from others. One of the most common suggestions is to take your dogs down to the basement carpark for the pet toilet, then clean up with a plastic bag and a squeezy bottle filled with water and dishwashing liquid or diluted white vinegar.
Novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2, also known as COVID-19) is a new strain of coronavirus which is causing illness in humans and animals. Most people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus will feel mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without any special treatment. Older people, as well as those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease, cancer or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illness, and require immediate assistance. Novel Coronavirus was first identified in a cluster with pneumonia symptoms in Wuhan city, Hubei province of China, quickly spreading around the world. On early March 2020, the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic had officially started, becoming the defining global health crisis of our time. Today, it is the greatest challenge people have faced since World War II, worsened by subsequent lockdowns of whole countries, collapse of entire industries, and a major economic recession.
