Emirates updated that the company restarts operating a limited number of passenger authorized flights. The full list of destinations can be found on the official website, including such return flights as from London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, and Manila.
It is required to complete a Twajudi form to return to UAE. After receiving approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC), residents will be able to fly back on an Emirates flight, with a unique ICA number.
The statement said that: “Stringent entry restrictions remain in place upon arrival in Dubai which includes: a mandatory DHA test on arrival; a mandatory 14-day quarantine and a follow up test before release”.
Once you get approval to return to UAE, you will have to book a flight as a regular passenger via emirates.com. If a particular flight is fully booked, the website will show it as “not applicable” and there will be a chance to choose an alternative date.
All the customers are required to follow certain health and safety measures provided by UAE authorities. Many residents now are waiting for approval from the MOFAIC, however, these passenger flights showing a good sign in terms of travel restrictions.
Novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2, also known as COVID-19) is a new strain of coronavirus which is causing illness in humans and animals. Most people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus will feel mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without any special treatment. Older people, as well as those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease, cancer or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illness, and require immediate assistance. Novel Coronavirus was first identified in a cluster with pneumonia symptoms in Wuhan city, Hubei province of China, quickly spreading around the world. On early March 2020, the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic had officially started, becoming the defining global health crisis of our time. Today, it is the greatest challenge people have faced since World War II, worsened by subsequent lockdowns of whole countries, collapse of entire industries, and a major economic recession.
